Dr. Terry Norman, lead analyst for Analysys Mason's Wireless Networks
and Spectrum research programs talks in an exclusive interview with
Joanna Scheffel from IQPC about the current challenges of network
optimization and how future networks could look like. Concerning for
example market value, Norman says that the most promising ROI for an
operator depends very much on the market they operate within. If it was a
strongly competitive marketplace, with a large number of operators,
then maybe a network sharing arrangement might well offer a great return
on investment, almost overnight halving their network carriage costs –
the costs to deliver services. Read this interesting interview to
understand some exciting ideas of how the network of the future could
look like.
